So Much to Share!

LinkedIn is Blossoming with Opportunities

LinkedIn is HOPPING and your inbox is probably packed, so I’m doing something different with my newsletter. Also, I’m doubling down on LinkedIn this week with my workshop tomorrow and sprint starting Friday, so here we go with the Tuesday newsletter!

I saw this sign at my parents’ gym while visiting them and thought it was appropriate for this week!

I’m seeing so many opportunities on LinkedIn in over the last few days that I wanted to publish a day earlier than normal. And if you took some time away from your email (which I commend you for) over the holidays, my last few newsletters have likely disappeared down the queue. So I’m keeping it short and sweet today to get you updated.

Job Seeker Resources

Using LinkedIn to be a Powerhouse Networker, workshop TODAY at 11am EST (but you can still purchase the recording if the time has already passed). And if you sign up by Wednesday, you’ll automatically be registered for my January LinkedIn Sprint!

LinkedIn Sprint for Job Seekers, registration deadline is TOMORROW so I can get things set up. We have an optional kickoff meeting Thursday at 2:00pm EST and then the sprint runs January 10-17. You post once each weekday and engage with the posts of 3 other sprint participants. I’ll send you daily suggestions to help inspire your posts.

Daniel Méndez Aróstica, MBA (a great guy who regularly shares job opportunities on LinkedIn) is co-hosting a free hangout for communications folks looking for work called “Beating the Winter Blues”. The event is today, January 7, from 8:30-9:30pm EST.

Hi! I’m Sara Kobilka, owner of Renaissance Woman Consulting.

I am a Renaissance Woman (what’s THAT? Good question! Here’s my answer). My wide-ranging background includes time as a TV meteorologist/reporter, non-profit leader, higher education program coordinator, curriculum designer, and now, business owner. During each leg of this journey, I gained new skills that I was able take with me in my next step. Now, I work remotely with clients to help them confidently tell their story and navigate the transition to the next leg of their career journey.
